SKERRITT, Breda (nee Byrne) July 29, 2021, Blackrock, Co. Dublin, in the loving care of the Blackrock Hospice, after a long battle with cancer, borne with great courage and dignity. Sadly missed by her husband David, sons Jonathan and Ian, daughters in law Joanna (Dwyer) and Sian, grandchildren Conor, Orla, Emilia, Oran and Cece, brothers and sisters Mary (Kennedy), Kitty (Smith), Sylvester, Terry, Paddy, Norah (Burton), Gerald and Eileen (Mulhall), brothers and sisters in law and her wide circle of friends. Predeceased by her brothers John and Joe. May she Rest in Peace. Family flowers only; Donations if desired to the Blackrock Hospice. Due to ongoing Government and HSE guidelines on public gatherings a private Service will take place on Tuesday August 3, 2021 at the Victorian Chapel Mount Jerome. Those who would like to attend but cannot due to current Government Restrictions, may view Breda’s service live from 2.30 p.m. using the following link https://vimeo.com/event/153499.

So sorry to hear the news of Brenda’s passing. We reconnected after many years a couple of years ago. I had not seen her since our school days. She was always a lovely person and well liked. My deepest condolences. Laura O’Neill (Mayne).
