MONAHAN, Kevin Macartan (Leopardstown and formerly of Sandyford) June 5, 2020 (peacefully) in the Beacon Hospital, Dublin. Beloved son of Pat and Jean and much loved brother of Sinéad, Michael and Sorcha. Sadly missed by his family, nieces Matilda, Jessica and Annabel, brothers-in-law Derek and Brian. Fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends including those in the rag trade. Reposing at his parent’s home this (Saturday) evening. Funeral tomorrow (Sunday) to Woodbrook Natural Burial Ground, Killane, Co. Wexford for family members. Condolences may be left on www.irishtimes.com

My condolences. Shocking news when I heard this. We met only for a short time during presentation​s in Leeds but for sure we had some very good laughs and beers. Your stories were one of a kind. All the best Kevin, rest in peace.

I first met Kevin 25 years ago when we worked together at Fred Perry, we became firm friends, it was easy as Kevin was such a likeable person a wonderful force of nature, much respected and loved. Fly safe , soar high, x Kevin Stone
