McCRANN, Monica

McCRANN (née McEntee), Monica, born, October 2, 1923, died February 27, 2013. A year later, Mona is remembered with much love by Aibhlín, Cormac, Oonah, Maighréad and Conor, her daughters-in-law, sons-in-law and her 9 grandchildren. We are deeply grateful to Mona's extended family and to our friends and colleagues who sympathised with us, and who provided comfort and support to us throughout her long illness, at the time of her death and during the past year. Mona was cared for in the final years of her life with respect and affection, and for that we thank Mauréad Guildea, Susie Rojack; Jean Murphy; Breda Pakenham; her staff at Carysfort Nursing Home and Mona's doctor, Dr Jim McShane. The celebration of the liturgy at Mona's funeral by Father Dermod McCarthy brought us great solace, and his support to us eased the sadness of her passing. Mona will live forever in our memories.
