O'CONNELL Alice (Monslatt, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and Tubbercurry Co. Sligo). R.I.P. December 5, 2016. The daughters and son: Annette, Mairead, Joan, Eilis, and Fr. Tomás, sister Sr. Joan FMM and extended family of the late Alice O'Connell wish to thank all those who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. A sincere word of thanks to all our relatives and friends who travelled to the reposing, both in Charlestown, Co. Mayo and Killenaule, Co. Tipperary and the removal and funeral Mass in Killenaule. We thank the staff of St. Attracta's Nursing Home, Charlestown, Co. Mayo for their care and dedication over the past three years and who afforded us much support at the time of Mammy's death on December 5. We appreciate the many gestures of sympathy received over the past number of weeks. Thanks to the community of Tubbercurry, where Mammy made her home since 2006, for its huge support, and to the people of Killenaule for the very warm "Welcome Home" they afforded us back in her native place, where, in Monslatt, she spent eighty years of her life. We express thanks to those who provided catering and hospitality on the night of the removal, and to St. Mary's Central School for use of the school. Thanks to the clergy for their help and support at the removal and funeral Mass. We also thank the priests of Charlestown and Tubbercurry for their pastoral care. Sincere thanks to Bóthar na Naomh Choir, Thurles, together with director, musicians and soloists for contributing so much to the funeral Mass. Many thanks also to the sacristan, servers, and all who participated in the liturgy. The professionalism of the undertakers is also appreciated. To the gravediggers too we say thanks. We thank the staff of the Anner Hotel, Thurles for their support at this time. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our warmest appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. The Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated this (Saturday) evening in St. Mary's Church, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary at 7.00pm.
