GALLAGHER - Edward (Stillorgan and Castletown Geoghegan) died November 20, 2024. We, Eddies wife, Eileen, daughter, Ciara and son Rowan wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported us in so many ways at the time of
the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father. Our sincere thanks to all those who attended and sympathised with us in the funeral home; to those who prayed with us at Eddies funeral Mass; to those who sent Mass cards, letters of condolence, texts, and to those who engaged in personal conversations. We offer a very special thanks to all of Eddies colleagues, from the hospitals in which he ministered, who supported and enabled him to fulfil his much-loved career; and to his special friends and neighbours who engaged with him in his retirement. A special word of gratitude is due
to Fr Peter Ewaoche Johnston, celebrant of Eddies funeral Mass which was enhanced by our musicians. The welcome and attention given to us by members of the funeral team, in the
Church of St, Thérese, Mount Merrion was greatly appreciated. To the Sacristan, to Massey Brothers, and to the ministers in Mount St. Jeromes Crematorium we say thank you. We believe that the generous donation, given by the College of Anaesthetists to the Alzheimers Society, in memory of Eddie, is a testament of the esteem in which he was held. To all who contributed to Eddies chosen charities we are grateful. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope that you will accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere gratitude and appreciation. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
