LYNOTT, Colette (née Soden) (Taylors Hill, Galway and formerly of Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan) 3 September 2024.( peacefully) after a short illness in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank, baby daughter Neasa and siblings Cyril, Patsy, Dessie and Sean. With much love and gratitude we lay a wonderful mother to rest who will be greatly missed by her children Jim, Áine, Dara, Donla, Ciara, sons-in-law Liam, Mulcahy, Ray Brennan and Ciarán Mannion, daughters-in-law Niamh and Karen, cherished grandchildren Ciara and Sarah, Simon, Cian, Jack and Lucy, Aoife and Conor, Sorcha, Tadhg and Oisín, Max and Jack, her sisters-in-law Anna and Clare, brothers-in-law Pat and Ray, the extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at home today (Thursday) September 5, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Please avoid parking on Taylors Hill or in the immediate area of the house. Arriving at the St. Ignatius (Jesuit) Church, Sea Road on Friday, September 6 in advance of Requiem Mass therein at 11 a.m. Following Mass, Colette will be laid to rest with Neasa and Frank in the new cemetery, Bohermore. Together, may the rest in peace. Memorial donations if desired to the Galway Hospice. Oíche mhaith Mamór agus codladh sámh, Beannacht Dé.

Jim, Áine, Dara, Donla and Ciara along with the extended family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us on our sad loss. A big thank you to those of you who sent messages, flowers, Mass cards and food. A special thank you to our, friends and neighbours and all who gave comfort to us at the Removal and Requiem Mass. Our sincere appreciation to Fr. Sean Ford, Fr. Martin Downey (RIP) and Fr. Charlie Connelly and to all who assisted in the Funeral Mass and arrangements. To the Public Health Nurses, Palliative Care Team and the Night Nurse , Margaret Scott. You helped ease Mum's journey with kindness, compassion and comfort. As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this notice as an expression of our sincere gratitude.
