NICHOLSON, - Shirley Rose (née Butler) (Foxrock, Dublin 18) October 12, 2019. Peacefully, in her 93rd year, in the wonderful care of all the staff on the Hazel Ward at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Desmond, grandmother of the late Jan and loving mother of Claire, Tony, John and Vicki. Sadly missed by Sir Henry, her devoted companion and sports partner in various activities over the last 25 years, also by her sons-in-law Don and Hari, daughters-in-law Etain and Jennifer, her 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. Funeral Service at 11 o’c tomorrow (Wednesday) morning in Tullow Parish Church, Brighton Road, Foxrock followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.
