CONNOR Martin Francis (Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, died August 23, 2011) - Martin's wife Colette and his children Martin, Austin, Mary, Dermot, Miriam, Joseph and Colette, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all our extended family, neighbours and friends, both here and abroad, for the love and support shown to us on our recent sad loss. In particular we are really appreciative of all who attended Martin's removal and funeral Mass, who sent cards, letters of sympathy and Mass Cards. We are especially grateful to Our Lady's Hospice Home Care Team, the night nurses of the Irish Cancer Society, the Rathfarnham district nurses and Dr. Fred Shackleton, for the wonderful care, support and attention they afforded Martin during his short illness and final days. A very special word of thanks to Fr. Martin Noone who provided such sensitive pastoral care to Martin as well as conducting a very fitting and beautiful service. We would also like to thank the very many members and staff from the Castle Golf Club, where he was a lifelong member, who attended the removal and service. To all his customers whose business and friendship meant so much to him, and to us, over the years; we are very appreciative. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this notice as Acknowledgement of our sincere thanks. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
