SOMERVILLE - Celia (née Dent) died November 24, 2023, formerly of Shellingford, Oxfordshire and Castletownshend Co. Cork, aged 101. Wife of Christopher (Dan) Somerville. Mother of Harriet, Thomas and John. Grandmother of Olivia, Catriona, Michael, Emily, Thomas and Hal. Great-grandmother of Liberty, Eben, Micah, Samuel and Sophie. Much loved. Funeral service Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 12 noon at St Faith’s Shellingford SN7 7QA. Family flowers only. Enquiries to J. Godfrey & Son 01367 718998.

It was with deep regret that I was unable to attend the funeral of Celia, my former next door neighbour in Shellingford. I was on holiday when Celia died and was ill at the funeral. I do send my deep condolences. She is now at rest and with Dan
