MAHER - The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Betty) Maher (née Kennedy), Castlemoyle, Boherlahan Cashel and Ross, Golden, Co. Tipperary, November 12, 2025, in the kind and gentle care of All the Staff at Padre Pio Nursing Home, Holycross. In her 98th year, Betty was a generous and intellectual soul who loved her time in UCD Earlsfort Terrace. Predeceased by her beloved husband T.J., infant daughter Mary, sons Thomas and Denis, sisters Maighréad, Mary and Mona, brothers Tom and Jack. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Julianne and her partner Robin, grandsons Colin and his partner Mara, Donncha and his partner Tina, great-grandchildren Hailie and Thomas, nephews, nieces, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends. Reposing at Devitts Funeral Home this Friday evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Boherlahan at 11.30am and can be viewed on https://churchcamlive.ie/boherlahan-dualla-parish/ followed by Burial in Ardmayle Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers to ILFA.ie.
