CONWAY, Enda Patrick - Foxrock Avenue (formerly of Foxford, Co. Mayo) Co-Founder and former President of the Irish Planning Institute. Passed away peacefully in his 90th year on January 28, 2025, at Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock, surrounded by his loving family after a long illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his sister Fidelma and brother Adrian. Enda will be sorely missed by Mary, his beloved wife of 65 years, adored children Anne, Declan, Helen, Barry, Brian and Rory and his treasured grandchildren Ciara, Claire, Aoife, Mia, Cian, Finn, Dara and Alannah. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters Rita, Ethnea and Deirdre, brothers Kieran and Finian, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, daughter-in-law Genevieve and Barry’s partner Louise, cousins, nieces, nephews, former colleagues, friends and kind neighbours. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Blackrock (A94 X308) on Sunday 2nd February from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Monday morning (3rd February) to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, arriving at 9:40 am for words of appreciation from the family at 9:50 am. Cremation thereafter at Mount Jerome, Victorian Chapel. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Our Lady’s Hospice and Care Services, Blackrock or to Pavee Point. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Mary, children Anne, Declan, Helen, Barry, Brian and Rory, their families, extended family and friends. As we lovingly remember Enda on his first anniversary, we wish to thank all who sympathised with us during our bereavement. We deeply appreciate the many cards, messages and expressions of sympathy received. We are very grateful to all who attended the repose, Funeral Mass and cremation service. A special word of thanks to family members, friends, colleagues and all who travelled long distances to be with us at that difficult time. A special Mass will be said for your kind intentions.
