CROOKS, Dr. John Anthony Irving (Tony) - born in Dublin on February 10, 1942, son of Betty and John (Dean of Armagh), died peacefully, on January 15, 2025, in the care of Dr. Patrick Hayden and the Oncology Department, Beacon Hospital. Beloved husband for 58 years of Joanna, dear father of Julie, Andrew, Rachel, Tim and Peter, brother of Michael, father-in-law of Stephen, Lisa, Levi, Viv and Helen, much loved grandfather of Nicki, Peter, Amy, Lucy, Stephen, Kate, Jamie, Charlie, Oli, Taran, Cameron, Lochlan, Morgan, Emily and Olivia, great-grandfather of Alex. Deeply regretted by his extended family and friends. A family tribute to his life will take place on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 10.00am in The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W. Family flowers only.
