CANNING, (née Gallagher) Josephine, (Malahide, Co. Dublin and formerly of Downings, Co. Donegal), late of Pope John Paul II National School, Malahide, November 15, 2024, (peacefully), in the care of the Bon Secours Hospital surrounded by her loving family, beloved wife of Liam, very sadly missed by her loving husband, children Seamus, Nora, Mary, Paddy, Nuala and Bairbre, daughter-in-law Rosemary, sons-in-law Paul, Conor, Mick and Shane, her adored grandchildren Ronan, Hugh, Kevin, Nora, Conall, Paddy and Rory, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Removal to St. Sylvester’s Church, Malahide, today (Wednesday) for 11am Funeral Mass followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium. Family flowers please. Donations, if desired, to Society of Saint Vincent De Paul. Please refer to rip.ie for webcam link. May She Rest in Peace.

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children Seamus, Nora, Mary, Paddy, Nuala and Bairbre, daughter-in-law Rosemary, sons-in-law Paul, Conor, Mick and Shane, her adored grandchildren Ronan, Hugh, Kevin, Nora, Conall, Paddy and Rory, her great-granddaughter Heidi, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Remembering also her beloved husband Liam, who passed away on the October 16 this year. Together, they are deeply missed and lovingly remembered every day.
The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude for the kindness, support and sympathy shown over the past year. Your thoughtful messages, Mass cards and shared memories have brought great comfort. Please accept this notice as our sincere thanks and appreciation.
