CROWLEY, Joe (Westfield Park, North Circular Road, Limerick. First Anniversary, February 15, 2016 - A sad year has passed since our beloved Joe died. Joe's wife Christine (née Madden), daughter Vivienne, sons Andrew and Hugh, Joe's sisters Martha (Connery), Cathy (O'Loughlin) and brother Colm, together with the extended Crowley and Madden families wish to thank everyone who supported us during and since our devastating loss. We wish to thank those who were with Joe at the time of his collapse, and who attended to him so dedicatedly whilst awaiting the arrival of the paramedics. Sincere appreciation to the staff at the Accident and Emergency Department of University Hospital Limerick, for their professionalism and empathy, for us, at such a difficult time. Thank you to Kieran and Mary O'Hanlon for their personal support on the day. Our heartfelt thanks to all who called to our home, attended the Removal, Requiem Mass and Burial, and to those who travelled to be with Joe on his final journey. We acknowledge sincerely those who sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy, enrolments and floral tributes. Our deepest gratitude to Fr. Willie Walsh for celebrating the Requiem Mass, and to the organist and soloist for providing such beautiful and meaningful singing. Sincere thanks to our wonderful neighbours and friends, and all who brought food and refreshments to our home. Our thanks also, to Daphne Greene and her staff at the Greenhills Hotel. We would particularly like to thank Joe's colleagues and the Management team of Sky Ireland for their compassion and support. To the Fianna Fail Party; to his fellow Councillors in Limerick City and County Council, we extend our thanks for your sympathy and providing the guard of honour at Joe's funeral mass. To Christine's colleagues, both past and present, and the Management team of AIB Bank, we appreciate so much the kindness and support you have extended to Christine since Joe's death. Our sincere appreciation goes to John Thompson of C. Thompson & Sons Funeral Directors, for his support, guidance and professionalism throughout, and to those who prepared Joe's final resting place. As it is not possible here to thank everyone who supported us, please accept this as an expression of our deepest gratitude for anything you did to ease our pain. It was so much appreciated by our family. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions.
