DUIGNAN, Edward (Ned), MRCVS, Veterinary Surgeon, Abbeytown, Roscommon; (peacefully), at the Sacred Heart Hospital Roscommon on 29th July 2021, in his 96th year; husband of the late Mary (Naughton), much loved by his family Ria, Anthony, Arthur, Maeve and Ann, grandchildren Conor, Mary Clare (deceased), Chris, Caoimhe, Odhran, Ailtin, Ultan and Ellie, great-granddaughter Rosie, daughters-in-law Clare (deceased) and Maresa, and sons-in-law David and Tim. Ned will be fondly remembered by his relatives, colleagues, neighbours and wide circle of friends. The Duignan family would like to express sincere gratitude to all the staff at the Sacred Heart Hospital for their exemplary care. In an effort to follow current guidelines Ned’s funeral will be attended by family only. His funeral cortege will depart from his home in Abbeytown tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 10.30 o’c and arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery. The Duignan family very much appreciate your support at this time.
