BYRNE, Gerry (Templeroan, Templeogue and formerly of Churchtown and TJ O’Mahony, Ballymount) (August 25, 2018) (peacefully) after a long illness bravely borne with great dignity, surrounded by his loving family. Will be deeply missed and remembered with much love by his wife and best friend Geraldine, children David, Anita, Tara and Keith, daughter-in-law Lynn, son-in-law Tim Lombard, Tara’s partner Tristan Harmon, his cherished grandchildren David, Jessica, Rhys and Aaron, brothers and sisters Brendan, Catherine and Robert, nephews, nieces, relatives, cousins, many friends, wonderful neighbours and fellow AA members. A special thanks to the Oncology department at St James’s Hospital and to Dr Gallagher. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook Road, Rathfarnham this (Monday) evening from 6 pm to 8 pm. Removal tomorrow (Tuesday) morning to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown arriving at 9.50 am for 10 am Funeral Mass followed by burial at Kilmashogue Cemetery. House private.
