O'DWYER, Rita (née Kennedy) (Mount Merrion, Dublin, formerly Thurles, Co. Tipperary). March 3, 2020. Died peacefully in the exceptional care of Liz and Pat and all the dedicated staff of Eyrefield Manor Nursing Home. Rita, beloved wife of the late Willie, predeceased also by her grandson William. Loving Mum to Anne, Billy (W.T.) Conor, Anthony (Tony) & also missed by her daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral Mass will take place in The Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion on Friday (March 6) at 10am followed by interment in Deans Grange Cemetery. O'DWYER - Rita, (March 3, 2020.) On the first anniversary of Rita's death, the O' Dwyer family wish to express their sincerest appreciation for the sympathy, support and kindness extended by all who knew our wonderful Mum. To the many who attended her funeral, sent messages of condolences and Mass cards in her honour, we thank you.
In her final years, Rita received loving and exceptional care from so many, but of special note we wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Lisa and Minda, Liz and Pat and the wonderful staff of Eyrefield Manor, Greystones, Drs. Judy Mc Nulty, Paddy Feeney and Diarmuid O'Shea for their professional care. We thank Fr. Dennis Quinn for providing spiritual care to Rita over the years, Fr. Brian O'Reilly for celebrating the funeral Mass and the assistance of the bereavement team of St. Teresa's Church, Mount Merrion. Grateful appreciation to Mark Kinsella, Funeral Director who ensured a compassionate and professional service. The Holy sacrifice of Mass has been offered for the special intentions of all.
