McCLEAN, Robert, (Rathfarnham), August 27, 2017, at William Stokes Ward, Tallaght Hospital, after a long illness bravely fought. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Celia, devoted children Conor and Kate, loving brother and sister John and Mary, relatives and many friends. Rest in peace. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Westfield Road today (Tuesday) between 5pm and 7pm. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) to St. Colmcille's Church, Knocklyon arriving at 10.50am for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by cremation in the Victorian Chapel in Mount Jerome. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Friends of St. Luke.
McCLEAN, Robert (Rathfarnham, Dublin), August 27, 2017. Greatly missed and always remembered with much love. To mark the first anniversary of Robert's passing, his wife, Celia, children: Kate and Conor; brother, John and sister, Mary would sincerely like to thank our relatives, friends, colleagues and neighbours for their sympathy and support during Robert's long illness and throughout the past year. Our heartfelt thanks to all those who visited us, attended the funeral, telephoned, sent Mass cards and other messages of sympathy and condolences. We are deeply grateful to Fr. Miceal O'Neill for celebrating Robert's meaningful funeral Mass. We are indebted to Dr. Ronan Collins and his team in the William Stokes Unit in Tallaght Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion shown to Robert during his illness. We will never forget all of your kindness to us. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
