WHELAN, Joseph (Joe) (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) October 14, 2022. Peacefully, surrounded by his devoted family in the excellent care of the staff at St. Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire. Dearly beloved husband of the late Mary, loving Dad to Donal, Shane, Ronan and Roslyn and much loved brother of Maureen, Nuala, Pauline, Tony, Oliver, Anne, Frank and the late Billy, Pat, Ambrose, Bernie, Peter, Margaret and Joan. He will be sadly missed by his loving grandchildren Christina, Michael, Carl, Annika, Sorcha, Cathal, Aisling, Eva, Faye, Mia, Jodie and Sarah, daughters-in-law Mechteld, Pauline and Emma, son-in-law Brian, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Joe will be reposing today (Tuesday) from 3.00pm to 4.15pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94XK28) prior to his removal to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock arriving at 5.00pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10.00am followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. For those that cannot attend, the Mass can be viewed using this link: https://www.churchservices.tv/foxrock.
