SWEENEY, Gertrude (Gertie) (née Mc Aleer) (late of Tyrone and formerly of Ongar Stud and Furbo, Co. Galway) – October 16, 2018 (peacefully) surrounded by her family in the wonderful care of the staff of the Anovo Care Nursing Home and the Hermitage Lucan. Beloved wife of the late Philip and loving mother of Adrian, Declan, Phyl, Sinead, Paul, John, Ciaran, Dermot, Lorraine, Philip and the late Jackie ; forever loved and sadly missed by her sons, daughters, sons in-law, daughters in-law, her twenty nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at her son Paul's residence (Carpenterstown, Dublin 15) this Thursday from 4 o'clock. to 8 o'clock. Removal on Friday morning to St. Mochta’s Church, Porterstown arriving for 10 a.m. Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton. All enquiries please to Massey Bros.
