DOWLING, Oliver (Ollie)

DOWLING - Oliver (Ollie), (Dublin). Remembering Oliver with love on his first anniversary (January 17, 2025). Very much missed by his family, sisters Peggy and Rosaleen, brother Joseph, nieces and nephews and partner Alan. We deeply appreciate all the support we received following Oliver's death and during the past year. We acknowledge and thank everyone who attended Fanagans funeral home, the funeral Mass in Whitefriar Street and the cremation service in Glasnevin along with those who sent cards, condolences and kind messages. We thank those who cared for Oliver; his GP Dr Keith Perdue, the oncology team in St James's Hospital and the staff in Our Lady's Hospice, Harolds Cross. We thank all of Oliver's friends who supported him during his illness, especially Maud, Fergus, Michael, Micheal and Peter. Special mention for James for his guidance and the Heavey family for their support. It is comforting for us to know, from the messages and tributes received, that Oliver was acknowledged as a pioneer of modern art.
