O'CONNELL, Dr. John Francis (Ranelagh, Dublin) - March 8, 2013 in his 87th year. Former Ceann Comhairle and Minister for Health in Dáil Éireann. Former Member of the European Parliament and Senator in Seanad Éireann. Founder of MIMS Ireland and Irish Medical Times. Sadly missed by his loving children, grandchildren, his extended family, colleagues and many friends. Rest in peace. Removal on Monday to The Church of the Sacred Heart Donnybrook, arriving at 5.00 pm. Funeral on Tuesday after 10.00 am. Mass to Glasnevin Cemetery.
