GARLAND, (née Rattray) Bette (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) March 1, 2021. Very peacefully, at home in the arms of her loving family. Beloved wife of Brian and devoted mother to Keith and Susan; and sister to the late Gene, Patricia (Pat) and David. Very sadly missed by her husband, son, daughter, daughter-in-law Shirley, grandchildren Rafe, Amy, Evan, Leigh, Isaac and Geordan, her nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and all her loving friends. The family would like to thank all the people who so devotedly cared for Bette and gave the family such support, love and advice, especially Mary, Hilda and the team at the Blackrock Hospice, Christine, Cathy and the rest of the primary care team, Ann, Marie, Patricia and the rest of the Home Instead team and also to Dr. Kilbride for his unflinching care and attention. May she rest in peace. Due to the current government restrictions a family funeral will take place privately, but can be viewed online tomorrow (Thursday) at 10.00am using the following link: https://foxrockparishchallenges.com/home/webcam/ . GARLAND - Bette - March 1, 2021 (First Anniversary).

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband Brian, her children Keith and Susan, daughter-in-law Shirley and grandchildren Rafe, Amy, Evan, Leigh, Isaac and Geordan. The family would like to extend their thanks to all who stood outside the church and attended online due to restrictions and to those who joined our prayers in Deans Court and by the grave. We also want to acknowledge all those who have extended their sympathy and support and for the many letters, cards, flowers that we have received.
