KEARNS Joan (née Welland), (Toronto, formerly of Rathmines, Dartry and Ballsbridge) October 4, 2017, in her 103rd year, after a full and adventurous life, in the wonderful care of Belmont Retirement Home, Toronto. Predeceased by her beloved husband William, deeply regretted by her sons Nicholas, Roderick, Jonathan and Robert, their wives and partners, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her niece in England and her many friends in Toronto and Ireland. A service in her memory will be held in Dublin at a later time.

Sincere sympathy to the Kearns family on Joan's passing. I first met Joan through her late husband William (Bill), a close work colleague. Joan was a wonderful lady and great company. Sad to hear of her passing. A long life well lived.
