OLSON - John (Sean), April 13, 2023.

On this, the first anniversary of John’s death, he is remembered with love by his children Emma, James, Laura, their families and his cousins. We would like to thank all those who sympathised with us and have continued to support us over the past year.

We would like to thank the medical and nursing staff of Stokes Unit in the Blackrock Clinic for their kind and compassionate care of John in his final illness. Many thanks to all those who travelled and attended the funeral mass, the Parish of St. Anne’s, Shankill and in particular John’s first cousin Fr. Jim O’Connor for being with us to celebrate the funeral Mass. We appreciate the kindness of John’s exceptional neighbours and friends. It was lovely to hear so many memories and stories especially from John’s former colleagues in The Irish Times.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our sincere gratitude.
