KAVANAGH, (née Clancy) (Main Street, Arklow, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Ballycashin, Kilnaboy, Co. Clare) - 7th April 2024, peacefully in her 90th year, in the loving care of her family and the staff at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin. Beloved wife of Nicholas and loving mother of Bernard, Bríd, Eoin and Anne-Marie. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, brother Donal, sisters Della, Kitty, Una and Finola, sons-in-law Bernard and Oran, daughters-in-law Patricia and Anne, her 11 grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours. May Sheila Rest in Peace. Sheila will be reposing at Hudson’s Funeral Home, Arklow (Y14 PT80) on (Thursday) from 3pm, with removal on Thursday evening at 6.30pm to The Church of Saints Mary & Peter, Arklow, arriving for reception prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon, followed by burial in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Arklow. Funeral Mass can be viewed on Arklow Parish webcam. Family flowers only, please. House private, please.
