GARVEY, Brian

GARVEY - Brian (Newton on Derwent, York, England and formerly Sutton, Co. Dublin) August 20, 2024, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Leonard’s Hospice, York. Beloved and loving husband of Jacquie and adoring father, grandfather and father-in-law to Brian Jnr, Emilie, Sam and Jack, to grandchildren Fiene and Archie, daughter-in law and son-in-law Annette and Gareth. Greatly missed by his brothers John, Pat, Paul, Kevin and Richard, mother-in-law Carole, in-laws, nephews and nieces, wider family, many friends and those in his beloved Clontarf RFC. Brian has donated his remains to Medical Science at Nottingham University Hospital. Memorial ceremonies to celebrate Brian’s life will be held in the coming months in York and Dublin, to coincide with the interring of his remains.
