Sr. Helen Courtney

I am Helen's first cousin. Sorry to hear of her passing. I am sad about that, but happy believing that she is now in a better place and is free of all pain and suffering on this earth. I had a nice visit with Helen in Ferrybank in April and enjoyed the hospitality of the community. At that time Helen was struggling to come to terms with her illness but was doing well and was very positive. I had a good feeling leaving there even though we both realized it may be the last time we would meet on this earth. I would have loved to have been present for her Mass there today. Distance and time would not allow this. I just want you to know that I celebrated Mass for Helen on Sunday and remembered her again today at just about the same hour of the final ceremony. I will celebrate a Mass for Helen, the community and the family again on Wednesday. My sincere sympathy to all of you. I share in this loss with you. May she rest in peace. God bless and keep you all in His loving friendship. John O'Sullivan, Tallahassee, Florida
