BYRNE, , Fr. Paul O.M.I. (Dublin) - Dec. 4, 2018 (peacefully), in the wonderful care of all the staff of Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross (late of Inchicore), beloved son of the late John and Lavinia and brother of the late Dick; deeply regretted by his sister Carmel, brothers Tony and David, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, his Oblate Community, relatives and a wide circle of friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing today (Wednesday) at the Oratory at the House of Retreat, Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore from 2 o'c. until 5.15 o'c. with removal to Church of Mary Immaculate (Oblates) at 5.30 o'c. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Thursday) at 11.30 o'c. followed by burial in the Community Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross.

Paul was a merciful, humane, dignified, colorful, witty, intellectual​, sporting, and so much more, human being. Above all, he was a beautiful friend and mentor. We deeply loved him in life and will miss him dreadfully. RIP dear friend.
