DALY, Dr. Maeve (Sandymount, Dublin) August 24, 2018 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of all the staff in the Cara Ward at St Vincent’s Private Hospital. Beloved wife of Dr. Matthias Murphy and much loved mother of Declan and Andrew. Predeceased by her brother Brendan. She will be sadly missed by her family, daughter-in-law Sue, her treasured grandchildren Aleksandar and Theodore, her sister Triona, her brothers Ciaran, Ronan, Ian and Colin, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Rest in peace. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook Road, Rathfarnham today (Monday) between 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm. Removal tomorrow (Tuesday) to the Church of St Mary Star of the Sea, Sandymount arriving at 9.50 am for Requiem Mass at 10.00 am followed by cremation at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross. No flowers please. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.

Just today I learned of the untimely deaths of Maeve and Matt Murphy RIP....as I was sourcing Matt for a referral...​worked with them both in the 70s...​wonderful memories ...how shocking...
