FERNANDEZ, Dr. Joe (Howth and Bombay) - October 28, 2014, In the compassionate care of the staff of St. Vincent's Hospital, Elm Park. Beloved husband of the late Pauline (née McCrea). Deeply missed by his sons Simon, Joseph and Anthony, daughter-in-law Lisa, grandchildren Layla and Isabella, his brother Ivor, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at his home from 6pm tomorrow (Thursday). Removal from his home on Friday morning (October 31) to the Church of the Assumption, Howth, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in Mulhuddart Cemetery.

Am only seeing this death notice now. It is with great sadness that I read of the death of Dr Joe. Dr Joe came to my rescue in 2007 and was instrumental in turning my life around. I will never forget you Dr Joe. RIP.
