MURPHY (Dr Dermot) (Dublin and Galway) (Died February 17, 2006) - Dermot's partner Mary Freehill, his children Vanessa, Peter and Marina, Christine mother of his children, his grandchild Katie Mollie, his mother Kathleen Murphy, sisters Maeve, Patricia, Sr Olive and Jane, brothers Tom and John, brothers-in-law Ned and TJ and extended family wish to thank all those who supported us in coping with Dermot's sudden death. We are truly grateful for the ongoing support and love shown by colleagues and friends in helping us to come to terms with the loss of Dermot. We particularly want to thank the medical team in St James's ICU who worked so hard to save his life. We thank all the clergy from St Teresa's Church, Mount Merrion. A special word of thanks to Bishop John Kirby and the priests of Clonfert Diocese - all old schoolfriends from Garbally Park and the Columban Fathers, Dalgan Park, Navan for their kindness and support. Finally, we thank all those who attended the funeral, particularly those who travelled long distances. We thank those who sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy and floral tributes. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our warm and grateful appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
