MULDOWNEY, Peggy (née Phelan) (Ballsbridge, Dublin and formerly of Kilkenny) -December 10, 2020 (peacefully), at home with her beloved family after a long illness worn lightly and with her characteristic grace. Deeply regretted by Frank, her husband of sixty-five years, her eight children Peter, William, Maeve, Margaret, Hilary, James, Kathy and Fleur, her sons and daughters in law who loved her so much, her twenty grandchildren whom she cherished, and her most recent and happy blessing, her great grand-daughter Daisy Kate. Her calm and wise counsel will be missed by many, particularly her treasured siblings Ellen, Hendy, Breda and Bill, and her wide circle of friends. In keeping with Government guidelines, a private funeral will take place today Monday (December 14th) at 11.30am. MULDOWNEY - Peggy (née Phelan) December 10, 2020. We remember with gratitude our beautiful, loving, good-humoured and wise Peggy today, on her First Anniversary. She is deeply missed every day by her husband Frank, and children Peter, William, Maeve, Margaret, Hilary, Jimmy, Kathy and Fleur; all her sons and daughters in law; her most trusted advisers - her sisters Ellen, Breda and Hendy and her brother Bill; and not least by her treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We are forever grateful for and reinforced by all the many happy years filled with love. Your wonderful support was very much appreciated by us all.

Sending our deepest condolences to the entire family, from the Donovan family in the US. Peggy was a treasure, and she will be deeply missed. I particularly recall a lovely vacation we four took together in Connemara - very sweet memories.
