FITZPATRICK Fr. Michael (PP Parish of the Resurrection, Bryanston, Johannesburg and late of Phibsboro) - June 22, 2014 following a short illness in South Africa. Sadly missed by his sisters May, Peg, Kit and Anne, brother John, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sister- in-law, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace. Funeral Mass this Friday (July 4) arriving at Christ the King Church, Cabra for 10 o'clock Requiem Mass followed by burial to Glasnevin Cemetery (St. Paul's).

So sad to hear of Fr. Michael's (Fitzy's) passing. When another Parish in Johannesburg seemed unwilling to have my sons Baptised he told me to "bring in the lads and let's get it sorted out". Rest in Peace Fr. Michael
