PURCELL, Eamonn (Glasnevin and formerly of Clonkelly, Dundrum, Co Tipperary) - April 7, 2024, in the company of his loving family following illness, having received every kind attention at St. Agnes’ Ward, St. Vincent’s University Hospital and having spent some time in the care of the wonderful staff at Leeson Park Nursing Home. A devoted husband, father and grandfather. Eamonn will be very sadly missed by his loving wife and constant companion Fionnuala, his children Fiona and Martin, grandchildren Nick, Ellie, Ciara, Livia and Dara, son-in-law Mike, daughter-in-law Emma, brother Gerald, sisters Kathleen (Sr. Fidelis), Síle, Moira and Treasa, nieces, nephews, many friends and neighbours, former colleagues in the motor trade and fellow club members of Donabate Golf Club. May Eamonn rest in peace. Reposing at Corrigan’s Funeral Home at 5 Lr. Camden Street on (Tuesday), 9th April from 5-7 pm. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church in Sandymount on (Wednesday), 10th April at 10am, which may be viewed on the live webcam www.stmarysstaroftheseasandy mount.com and thereafter to Mount Jerome Crematorium for 11:30 am.
