CONDELL - James Frederick (Clontarf, Dublin) - As we approach what would have been Freddy’s 100th birthday (June 7, 2021), we his family Olive, Deborah, Sarah, Eric and Ivan, would like to offer thanks to all who supported us in our bereavement and the last few years of Freddy’s life. To extended family, friends, neighbours and old colleagues, we really appreciate all the messages, cards, gifts and calls that brought tears and memories of what many of you called “a true, gentle man”. To the clergy, your prayers and Masses continue to give us comfort and solace and to Fanagans Funeral Directors, thank you for your dignified professionalism. To Fred’s team of carers from All-in-Care and Home Instead, (especially Michaela, Leah, Erika, Natalie, Josselyn, Eleanor and Margaret), thank you for helping us to look after Freddy in his own home. To our fabulous GP, Dr. Ronan Cormican, we are very grateful for your expertise, responsiveness and flexibility especially in Fred’s last months. We also thank Dr. Linda Brewer and the team at Cairdeas Day centre, especially Sarah, Owen and Danielle. To our partners and spouses, thank you for accompanying us on this journey. Freddy had a long and fulfilling life; we miss both him and our beloved Jonathan who would have been 68 on June 15. To you all, please accept this heartfelt notice of gratitude.
