EADIE, Jim (James, Jay), (Grange Road, Rathfarnham, formerly of Stonepark, Roscommon) passed away peacefully aged 93 on December 6, 2022 in the loving care of the staff at the Beacon hospital. Predeceased by brother Frank and sister Mai (Clarke), his son-in-law, Antonio Girona (Spain). Beloved husband of Bridie (neé Reynolds) and loving father of Deirdre, Caroline, Colm and Jimmy. Very sadly missed and remembered with much love and affection by his loving family, grandchildren Aran, Carlos and Marta, James Jnr and Ruby, sister Rose (Finn) and brother Pat, daughters-in-law, Ruth and Rosa, nieces, cousins, relatives, extended family in Ireland, U.K., Italy and Spain, friends and former colleagues of the NUJ, the ICTU and the Labour Party of which Jim was a lifelong member, his wonderful neighbours and a wide circle of friends from all over the country. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Sunday, December 11, from 3 pm to 5 pm. A private service will take place on Monday, December 12, followed by burial at Kilternan Cemetery Park - arriving at approximately at 12.15 pm on Monday (December 12, 2022).
