MASTERSON, The death has occurred of Brian Masterson, Oakfield, Oranmore, Galway, and formerly of Mulranny, Co. Mayo, also Blessington, Co. Wicklow and originally of Stocking Lane, Rathfarnham, Dublin. On February 1, 2024, Brian passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at his home. Brian is predeceased by his sons Stephen and John. He will be sadly missed by his loving partner and best friend of fifty-nine years Pauline, his sons Paul, Thomas and Brian, his daughters Mary, Ann and Liz, his son-in-law Tom, daughters-in-law Michelle, Collette, Mary and Imelda, his many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, all his cousins, extended family and friends. Reposing at his home in Oakfield, Oranmore, Galway (H91 Y5E5) Sunday evening, February 4 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Requiem Mass at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore on Monday, February 5, 2024, at 12 noon. Mass will be broadcast on Parish Radio 105.3 FM and can be viewed on http://www.oranmoreparish.org/live/. Brian will be taken for a Celebration of Life service at Shannon Crematorium which begins at 3pm. Family flowers only, by request. Donations to Galway Hospice. The family would like to sincerely thank all the carers from Bluebird and The Galway Hospice Foundation, who looked after Brian with such compassion and kindness.
