RYAN - Dr. John P. A. died peacefully at home on July 21, 2022. John's wife, Maeve Bolger, together with the Ryan and Bolger families want to thank Margaret Heffernan, of Blackrock Hospice, who was present with Maeve when John died. The families also thank the HSE for equipment, and services of Ciara Fitzpatrick, Mary Macreevy and others which enabled John's care at home. James Monterola, trainee nurse, was attentive to John's needs, gentle when moving him and always with a smile. Sincere gratitude to Dr. David Mulcahy and Dr. Oisin McPhillips for ongoing care and many house calls. Receiving Holy Communion was a consolation for John, brought daily by Father Maurice O'Shea. Father Joe Mullan, celebrated John's Requiem Mass and his ninety six wonderful years. The two families want to thank all those who offered support and sympathies during this sad and difficult time. Prayers will be offered for their intentions at John's Months Mind.
