LANNON (Sutton) - April 7, 2014, (peacefully), in St. Gabriel's, after an illness, Brendan (retired Civil Service Commission), beloved husband of the late Maura, loving father of Thérèse (Crean), Caitríona, Geraldine and Brenda; devoted Grandpa to his seven grandchildren; and dedicated brother to Mary. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, sister, sisters-in-law Nancy (Sr. Anne) and Vera, relatives and friends. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) evening to St. Fintan's Church, Sutton arriving at 5.30 o'clock. Funeral on Friday morning after 10 o'clock Requiem Mass to Fingal Cemetery, Malahide Road. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
LANNON, Brendan, (late of Sutton, Dublin 13, retired Secretary of the Civil Service and Local Appointments Commission and late Howth Golf Club) who died on April 7, 2014. Brendan's family would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us on our sad loss. Thank you to everyone who attended the Mass and Funeral and to all who sent Mass cards, floral tributes and messages of condolence. Sincere thanks to our relatives, Brendan's sons-in-law, friends, neighbours and colleagues for their kindness and support during this difficult time and to those who travelled long distances to be with us. Special thanks to Fr. Liam Lacey for his kindness, to Deirdre Seevers for her beautiful music during the funeral Mass. We are most grateful to the staff of Kirwans Funeral Home, Fairview for their courtesy, sensitivity and kindness to us. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
