O'DOHERTY, Irene (nee Mulvaney) (Stillorgan, Co. Dublin) - 7th April 2024. Peacefully, surrounded by her family, in the gentle and compassionate care of the staff of the Nightingale Unit, the Blackrock Clinic. Treasured wife of Derry for over 60 years, dearly loved mother of Anne and Brian and wonderful mother-in-law to Paul and Aisling. Adored and adoring “Grandma Irnie” to Conor, Seán, Sarah and John. Much loved and sadly missed by her beloved sister Anne, Conor’s wife Shauna, her nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends, especially her lifelong friends, the “card” girls. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Blackrock A94 X308 today (Tuesday), 9th April, between 5pm and 7pm. Removal tomorrow, Wednesday, 10th April, to the Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Lower Kilmacud Road, Stillorgan, A94 CY83, arriving for 10am Mass, followed by a private cremation ceremony for family at Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross.
