DOWNES, Joan (née Worrell) (late of Mageough Home, Cowper Road, formerly of Walkinstown) - April 17th 2022, (peacefully) in the excellent care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross; beloved wife of the late Jack, much loved mother of Gwen, Susan and Gavin, adored grandmother of Gary, Daniel, Katie, Jack, Conor, Zoe, Sean and Daisy; loved and remembered always by her family, brothers John and Ken, sons-in-law Eddie and Eric, daughter-in-law Ammi, sisters-in-law, her two great-grandchildren Loui and Harry, the extended family and her good friends, particularly those in the Mageough and Leinster Bowling Club. Pre-deceased by her brother Arthur and sister Doreen. Funeral Service on Thursday (April 21) at 11.30 am in St. Michan’s Church, Church Street, afterwards to Glasnevin Crematorium.
