GUNNING John S (Séan) (Stillorgan, Co. Dublin, and Geesala, Co. Mayo) - On Séan's First Anniversary (October 4, 2019) his wife Anne and the Gunning family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with them at the time of their sad loss. We appreciate those who sent messages of condolences and Mass cards, those who called to the house, attended his Funeral Masses in Dublin and Mayo and many who travelled long distances to be present. A special thanks to relative friends and colleagues who visited Sean during his long and difficult illness. We are grateful to Fr. Hugh Gillen O.H. who celebrated the beautiful Funeral Mass and for his support and pastoral care. To Dr. J J Barry and staff at Royal Hospital, Donnybrook for the care and professionalism given to Séan. Thanks also for the excellent care afforded Séan in Leopardstown Park Hospital during his short time there. A particular thanks to Dr. Patrick Feeney G.P. for his patience and understanding to Séan for the past number of years. We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
