DOLAN, Peter. (Beechlea, North Circular Road, Limerick and formerly of Dublin and ‘Just Portugal’ Travel). Peacefully at the North West Medical Centre, Margate, Florida on April 14, 2020. Much loved and loving husband of Caroline O’Connor. Dearly loved father of Anne-Marie O’Byrne & Martyn, sadly missed by his son-in-law Cathal, daughter-in-law Clair, by his brothers Frank (Sri Lanka) & Tom (Wicklow), by his sisters-in-law Deirdre (Hackett), Babs and Damien, his brother-in-law David, Tine (mother of Anne-Marie and Martyn), his many friends in Ireland and Portugal. Lovingly remembered today and every day by his wife Caroline (O'Connor), daughter Anne-Marie and son Martyn, extended family, neighbours and his many friends in Ireland and Portugal.

While you could not be with us in person, your phone calls, cards, letters, texts, flowers, gifts and all your kindness lifted us up and touched us deeply and we are truly grateful.We would like to particularly thank our wonderful embassy staff, Emer in Washington D.C, Shane in Atlanta and David in Dublin for their incredible support and efforts throughout the trauma of Peter's illness and loss.

We would also like to thank John-Mark and Gerry of Griffins Funeral Home for their exceptional care, time and professionalism. Due to Covid restrictions, we are still unable to invite you to celebrate Peter's life, but we will do so in the future. Dearest Peter you are profoundly loved and missed every minute of every day.

"Pedro" Dolan is fondly remembered by all who played cricket with him at Merrion in the 1980's including the gang of actors who went on to form The Theatrical Cavaliers. We enjoyed his warmth and humour on and off the field. Michael Ford
