McDONNELL, Very Reverend Francis Canon (Belvedere, Lynn, Mullingar) - October 3, 2017, (peacefully), after a short illness bravely borne with dignity and courage, (Retired Parish Priest of Terenure and Wicklow); he will be deeply missed by his brother Jimmy, sisters Eileen (Tormey), Kathleen (Eyres), Norah (Sheehan) and Antoinette (Byrne), sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, adored nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and many friends. He will be sadly missed by The Most Reverend Diarmuid Martin (Archbishop of Dublin), his fellow Priests in the diocese of Dublin and Meath, The Most Reverend Michael Smith (Bishop of Meath) and the Priests of Mullingar Parish. May he rest in peace. Reposing at his brother Jimmy's residence, Belleville, Lynn, Mullingar tomorrow (Friday) from 2pm until 5.45pm with removal thereafter to the Cathedral of Christ The King arriving at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon followed by burial in Walshestown Cemetery.
