DAFFY Alan - Died on April 26, 2016 (on the First Anniversary of the death of his brother Fr. Flann CssR), Alan's wife Clare (Keenan), brother Andy, nephews Aidan and David, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law wish to thank most sincerely all our relatives, friends and neighbours for their many expressions of sympathy, support and comfort. Special thanks, to all who attended and cared for Alan during his illness at the Mater Private Hospital, especially, Dr. Frank Chambers, Prof Jim Egan, Prof Dermot Power, the Nursing Staff and Rev Fr. Kieran Dunne Chaplain, and to Tanya Grandon and the staff at Mount Hybla Nursing Home during his final days. Our grateful thanks to Rev Fr. Eugene Kennedy, our relatives, friends and neighbours who called to the house; to all who visited the funeral home, particularly, Rev Fr. Brendan O'Rourke CssR and those who attended the funeral Mass many of whom travelled long distances. Our thanks also to the team at Staffords Funeral Directors especially John and Nevin Stafford for their kindness and attention in organising the funeral arrangements. Our heartfelt thanks, to all who participated in making Alan's final farewell so memorable, in particular, Rev Fr. Brendan Quinlan PP St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Rev Fr. Pat Horgan CssR who celebrated the funeral Mass, Rev Fr. Baraquay CssR, Rev Fr. Devitt CssR and Rev Fr. Wadding CssR. To Rosalind O'Dowd for her beautiful singing and the Organist Phyl Lawless, and to Concepta Sheehan for all her assistance. Please accept this Acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
