BYRNE, Col. Denis, Retired (Salthill, Galway, formerly 'The Curragh', Athlone and Byrne's Public House, Main Street, Castlebar, Co. Mayo) - December 31, 2012 (peacefully) at home; dearly beloved husband of Anna for 52 years and much loved father of Denise, Tommy, Fiona, Annamarie and Linda. Sadly missed by his wife, son and daughters, brother Tommy, sisters Dorrie and Kitty, sons-in-law Con, Charles and Mike, adored grandchildren, Eugene and Gregory Foley and James, Eimear and Conor Simpson, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, the extended Byrne and O'Connor families and friends.
