MILLAR, Charles, (Stillorgan, Co. Dublin), May 11, 2017, (peacefully) at St. Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park. Much loved husband of Flora, cherished father of Mark, Deirdre, Niamh and Kathryn and grandfather to Conor, Laura, Rachel, Alex, Lucy and Aisling. He will be very sadly missed by his loving wife, children, grandchildren sister Oonagh (Milligan), daughter-in-law Jackie, sons-in-law Anthony, Trevor and Leighton, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, Breege and all who knew and loved him. Reposing at his home on Monday evening from 5 o'c until 7 o'clock Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 10 o'c at the Church of St. Laurence O'Toole, Kilmacud, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only, please. Donations, in lieu, to the Renal Unit in the St. Vincent's Foundation, St. Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin 4 or www.stvincentsfoundation.ie."May he rest in peace"
MILLAR, Charles, (Stillorgan, Co. Dublin). Our much loved husband, father, grandad, brother slipped away (peacefully), May 11, 2017. He was very much cherished by his wife Flora, son Mark, daughters, Deirdre, Niamh and Kathryn, his grandchildren, Conor, Laura, Rachel, Alex, Lucy and Aisling, his sister Oonagh (Milligan). His daughter-in-law, Jackie (Monks), sons-in-law, Leighton (Jones), Anthony (Harman), Trevor (Price) and also Breege (Canny). We offer our heartfelt thanks to our neighbours, friends, work colleagues, past and present, who visited our home with both help and support. We are very appreciative to those of you who travelled from near and far to be with us. We also extend our sincere thanks to Professor Alan Watson, Professor Malachi McKenna, and their medical teams at SVPH and SVUH for their professionalism and respect shown to Charles during his 10 years in their expert care. We also thank his GP Dr. Brian Meade of Kilmacud Medical Centre for caring for Charles over many years. We also are truly grateful to Fr. Tony Coote of the church of St. Laurence O'Toole, Kilmacud for his support and compassion in guiding us through Charles's Church Service. Charles will forever remain in our hearts and will be sorely missed by us all. May he Rest in Peace.
