DEMPSEY Paddy (Carrickmines, Dublin 18) Died November 2, 2009. On the First Anniversary of Paddy's death, his wife Helen, his daughters Catherine, Marion, Adrienne, Hilary and Barbara and his brothers Brendan and Gerry, together with the extended family would like to thank most sincerely all of those who sympathised with us and those who have supported us during the past year. Thank you to all of Paddy's many friends who called during his short illness and helped to keep his spirits up. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who cared for Paddy especially to his brother Dr. Brendan Dempsey, to Dr. Elizabeth Vandenberge and the staff at St. James's Hospital. Thank you to the many people who joined us at Paddy's funeral Mass; your presence in such large numbers was a great comfort to us and it was a fitting tribute to Paddy. Special thanks to Fr. Martin Clarke for his moving service and to his concelebrants: Fr. Aidan Lehane CSSp (St. Michael's College), Fr. Anthony Little CSSp (St. Michael's College), Fr. Seamus Galvin CSSp (St. Michael's College), Fr. Malachy Kilbride CSSp (Blackrock College), Fr. Cormac O'Brolcháin CSSp (Blackrock College), Fr. Noel Barber SJ (Belvedere College) and Fr. Ciarán Holohan (PP Foxrock). Many thanks to Fanagans Funeral Directors for their professionalism and sensitivity during a very difficult time. We are very grateful to all of those who kindly sent us letters of sympathy, flowers, Mass cards and to those who called personally to the house or who phoned us. We hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our sincere appreciation, as we have not been able to thank everyone individually. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. Forever loved and greatly missed.
