DOWNING, Maurice Brigadier-General (Retired) (Terenure, Dublin and formerly of Glengarriff Co Cork) 22nd November 2020 (peacefully) at the Mater Private Hospital, beloved husband of the late Maeve, he will be sadly missed by his children Margaret, Maeve, John, Maurice, Paul and Finbarr, grandchildren John, Rachel, Alexander, Danielle, Paul, Kate, Hannah, Jenny, Ronan, Chloe, Leah, Josh, Jamie, Daniel and Abbey, sisters Breda and Maureen, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, neighbours, especially all his friends in Terenure College Rugby Football Club. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis. A private Family Funeral will take place due to Government guidelines. Messages of condolence may be left in the ‘CONDOLENCE’ section below.
